Microsoft Ending Support on Windows 8 Today

Microsoft ends to support on Windows 8 Today. Windows 8 user may upgrade to Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 for free. Windows 8 was released in October of 2012 and its just three years. It sounds a big pity for Windows 8 users.

According to survey of Net Applications, the market share of Window 8 is 2.76%, that means there are 40 millions running Windows 8. For such users, Microsoft provides two options- to upgrade to Windows 8.1 or to upgrade to Windows 10. Sure, the two options are free of charge with just a few clicks. However, it's worth noting that its better to finish upgrade before July 29, 2016 if you want to upgrade to Windows 10, because it's free upgrade before July 29. Also, you should to upgrade to Windows 8.1 before upgrading to Windows 10. Windows 10 will receive support until October 14, 2025, with mainstream support ending on October 13, 2020.
