This app has been carefully written for Year 8 students (Australian Curriculum - 2019).

The aim of the app is to assist students in investigating and understanding the exciting and very important world of Mathematics.

This app fully implements the intent and scope of the Australian Curriculum (A curriculum mapping is included). Numerous worked examples support carefully graded exercises to cater for a wide range of student abilities and to ensure that all students experience success.

Each topic contains algorithmic coding activities that solve problems related to the topic

Extensive and diverse range of supporting activities, within the app, include:

This app was written, by the author, in the programming language C#. The app thus has a rapid response and is able to include features not available in standard digital readers. For example:
- Relevant worked examples are placed beside exercises
- Worked examples can be covered with a single tap or click
- The answers to an exercise are available with a single tap or click.
- Review flash cards summarising the topic are available with a tap or click
- Mental arithmetic questions, in audio, can be played with a tap or click
- Videos supporting each unit, within a topic, can be accessed with a tap or click
- Hints on how to succeed at mathematics are available with a single tap or click
- Screen views can be copied to other applications, such as OneNote

The author is a mathematics head with 30 years experience, an honours masters in IT
education, a PhD in mathematics education, a state award for mathematics education,
and extensive publishing experience.
