This is NOT a universal remote control app and will not make your phone function as a remote controller. It is also NOT a repository of existing manufacturer codes, nor will it find codes for you. What Universal Remote Codes IS, is a simple utility for entering, storing and displaying the device codes for various universal remote controls.
Most universal remotes come with an instruction manual with tiny print and thousands of codes for hundreds of TVs, DVD players and other devices. Once you've programmed your remote, you have to keep the manual handy in case you ever need to program it again. But manuals have a tendency to disappear, and even if you still have it, finding the right code again can be difficult.
Why keep all those manuals around? Enter and store the codes in Universal Remote Codes for easy retrieval when you need it. You can also enter and store the remote model, device model, and programming instructions.
Your codes database can also be saved to OneDrive for easy backup and restore.
