The Eagle App was designed to help persons who do not work at one and the same location or in location where no terminals are presence, to report their arrival, departure, and absences in an easy and quick manner.
The geographical locations from which a transaction was generated is checked. Transactions which do not comply with permitted locations (can be defined per user) are marked as exceptions and need to be approved by the supervisor.
The time stamp is taken from the Server, ensuring independancy from the individual smart phone time. The local time is calculated based on the location where the transaction was generated.
But the Eagle App does a lot more. Employees can use their Eagle App to report their activities in the same way as they do when using a data collection terminal.
Maybe the most powerful and unique feature of the Eagle App is its ability to execute hundreds of commands that are defined by the user himself. Think of openning the gate when approaching the parking place and/or generating a list of all present (including visitors) in case of emergency, sending a time card report (or any other report) to the individual e-mail address and many more.
For each user (smart phone) a profile is created with the functions this user may use.
The Eagle App itself can be down loaded free of charge.
Three type of Smart phones are supported: iPhone, all Android smart phones and Microsoft phone.
