Description
For the price of a cup of coffee this app:
⮚ Protects your computer from "USB flash drives" which are actually malicious automatic keyboards masquerading as USB flash drives. It does this by showing the lock screen.
⮚ Protects from other fake input devices such as mice too.
⮚ And from fake network adaptors.
⮚ And finally, lets you lock your BitLocker-unlocked drives without needing to restart your computer.

• BadUSB etc. •
Today, anyone who wants to gain access to your computer need only order a device online, and load it with their payload. Then they can leave it somewhere where you'll find it and when you insert it into your computer to see what it is, it will start sending commands to the computer as if the attacker is sitting at your keyboard. This happens even if you have turned off Autoplay.

Penteract Disguised-Keyboard Detector addresses that threat by locking the screen when a keyboard is detected. If you meant to connect a keyboard - just go ahead and unlock it. If not - the disguised keyboard will not be able to run commands on your computer any more than a person sitting by your locked screen.

See it in action: Disconnect and reconnect your keyboard to see it work.

Will also lock the screen on the detection of other HID devices such as mice. As above, if you connected one, unlock the screen. If not - remove whatever device you connected! It might be malicious.

• Network Adaptors •
Protects from fake network adaptors by blocking new network adaptors by default, and then lets you manually enable them.

• BitLocker •
Currently, Windows doesn't offer a way to re-lock an unlocked BitLocker drive without using the command line or batch file. Use this app to let you re-lock the drive. Added bonus: no need to type your admin password for that.
