mySync DM Hub for WP8 is part of mySync DM, a multi-platform mobile device management service.
This client app requires an active account on the service to be functional.
mySync DM adds security, reduces cost in many ways, and fully supports BYOD.
mySync DM provides the following features and capabilities:
• Over-the-Air service deployment.
• Direct integration to external platforms for automatic service account creation.
• Managed or self-service operation on device to setup the service.
• Multiple devices per one user; N-way data synchronization (on some devices).
• Synchronize/migrate data between different mobile platforms.
• Secure self-service portal for PIM and own device management.
• "Find my device"-style device tracking and remote device wipe.
• Security policy management.
• Application management.
• Configuration management.
• Asset management and diagnostics.
• Secure service-device communication platform.
If you have a mySync DM account, and do not yet have it activated, do this:
0: Create Company App account on your device with your mySync DM credentials
1: Download and install the free mySync DM Hub app on your device, launch it
2: Launch the Hub app, and type in the Installation Code you received to activate it
3: Wait for a while, and you'll get a notification on screen when your device is provisioned to the service
To fully use the service, there is:
• a customer care web user interface for operators/IT departments, and
• a device owner's self-service web user interface.
