"L&G: Learn English" is the best attempt of its humble developer to use immense amount of energy people are ready to spend on games in some useful way.

Now anyone can study English words playing the arcade-like game. Initial resource is 10 themes x 20 words each. The goal is to compose at least 60 more themes during 1 year time beginning from September, 2014 available for download without updating the application.

One steers star-fighter through deep outer space and blows pictures trying to guess which one corresponds to the pronounced word. One is gradually eased into the game from initial Peon level and up the hierarchy. At first player gets almost simultaneous hints which are becoming more and more delayed (waiting for them will slow your star-fighter which eventually make you fail to pass the level) and at last are not presented any more.

It is possible to create multiple accounts, both local and internet. Internet accounts are saved on the program's dedicated server database and one can see other people results on the Hierarchy tab, there are 12 levels to pass, from Peon to Geon and the best one among Geons gets to the peak winning general admiration and envy :).; MoreLess
