The app uses background location to check your location periodically and alert you when you reach your set location.

NOTE:
Due to Microsoft's restriction on background location in Windows Phone 8
The app can only follow your location for 4 hours without user intervention after which the user must reopen the app.
If you pin the Live tile on the start screen it will notify you when to reopen the app.
The app cant function without GPS so be sure you have good GPS strength on the route and enough battery life to get there.; MoreLess
