Description: Contact Fetch provides a pair of tools to allow you to transfer contacts to your phone.
The first tool, ‘LDAP Search’, uses the LDAP protocol to access publicly available LDAP servers, allowing you to search for friends and associates who may then be added to your phone’s contacts. Use one of the public LDAP servers from Educational institutions already pre-programmed, or add server information for any LDAP source you wish to access.
The second tool, ‘Parlance Search’ allows existing customers of Parlance Corporation to access contacts from their Names Directory. This requires entry of your Parlance WebTools credentials, which then allows you to search for business associates and add their contact information to your phone.
You may optionally activate processing to keep your contact information up to date. If you’ve pinned Contact Fetch to your Start screen, and expanded it to be a wide tile, contact updates will be displayed in the tile.
