Description
Blackout turns off your phone's screen while using continuum.

Continuum is a great feature, but in many circumstances users may wish to only use the larger, connected monitor. Continuum however will shut down if you attempt to lock your phone. This is an annoyance, but can also be harmful to your phone with continued use. The lumia 950 and 950xl both have beautiful, 4k AMOLED displays, but a common problem with that type of display is screen burn-in from staying on a static image for too long. Additionally, the screen will needlessly drain your phone's battery which naturally reduces it's lifetime from the additional drain.

Blackout for Continuum is an almost ludicrously simple solution for these problems. Simply start using continuum as you would normally and then start Blackout on your phone. The app will fullscreen a completely black background on your phone. AMOLED screens display the color black by doing nothing; the pixels do not light up. Your screen is essentially "off" for the purposes of saving battery and preventing premature burn-in.

Features:
* App immediately blacks out the screen upon starting. Absolutely no non-sense.
* Tap the screen once to show the status and navigation bars. (Tap again to hide them or they will also hide again automatically after a brief delay.)
* Double tap the screen to close the app and get right back to using your phone.

Cheers!
