Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse is an online web series of computer-animated shorts produced by Arc Productions and distributed by Mattel. The series debuted in May 11, 2012 and is available on Barbie.com, Netflix and YouTube. Two TV specials aired on Nickelodeon on September 1, 2013.

Barbie Roberts: Barbie is the lead character of the show. She lives in a large pink mansion called "the Dreamhouse" along with her sisters Skipper, Stacie, Chelsea and their pets. Barbie is a fashion icon and has had over 136 careers. Despite being a celebrity in Malibu, she is friendly, humble and good-natured. Barbie is voiced by Kate Higgins.
Ken: Ken is Barbie's long-time boyfriend. Ken strives to be the perfect boyfriend for Barbie and is always there when Barbie needs him. He is an inventor who makes high-end machines and gadgets for Barbie to use, though they usually end up malfunctioning. Ken is voiced by Sean Hankinson.
Barbie's sisters: Skipper, Stacie and Chelsea Roberts are Barbie's siblings who live with her in the Dreamhouse. Skipper is a teenager who enjoys tech and gadgets. Chelsea is a six-year-old who loves to play with her pets and siblings. Stacie is a sporty 10-year-old, who loves to organize. Skipper and Stacie are voiced by Paula Rhodes while Chelsea is voiced by Laura Gerow.
