This extension is required to access specific applications at https://myapps.microsoft.com, also known as the My Apps, which provides single sign-on to cloud applications within your organization.
With it enabled you can sign in directly into applications from the application's login page. You also can also launch any application through the search bar and find shortcuts to your recently used applications.
