Multi timezone display.

The multi-timezone display is an experimental feature that warps your calendar if you create and event that starts and ends in different timezones. For example, if you are flying from the UK to Seattle on Monday and coming back on Friday, instead of adding your flight as an 11 hour event, add it starting in GMT and ending in PST. The display will show your flight as only 3 hours duration and will shift all events after the flight back 8 hours. The return flight on Friday will shift the calendar back to GMT again. This also works if you fly to New York on Wednesday. Enter a flight PST/EST on Wednesday and Sunday will be GMT, Monday, Tuesday PST, Wed/Thu EST and then back to GMT on Friday. This way you can plan for your trip by viewing appointments in the timezone you will experience them in.

Note this doesn't work when you are actually in Seattle and switch your machine to PST - your previous week will not be shifted forward 8 hours as this only works in the future.

Note you should turn this feature off if you are not using it as the refresh is much slower.; MoreLess
