Rovio Announced to Migrate Away from Windows Phone

As recently many Windows users are talking about the game Pokemon Go doesn’t support Windows Phone and Windows 10, now there is another bad news for Windows Phone users: Rovio will stop the development of Angry Birds for Windows Phone, which was leaked in an email, though it has a couple of games for Windows 8.1 and Windows phone. And the developer will migrate to focus on the development of the game on Android and iOS.

Here is what the Rovio Entertainment Ltd said in the email:


Rovio games are also no longer developed on Windows Phones. The only devices that are still supported and updated are Android and OS devices. We are sorry for the inconvenience. If there is anything else we could help you with please, do not hesitate to contact us again.

But users still can download Angry Birds in the Windows Store currently.
